Get to Know Katie
Katie has been studying health and fitness and the role it plays on the human body for many years. She studied human biology at Michigan State and has a Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan in Dental Hygiene. Katie fell in love with group fitness and the way it made her feel not only physically, but mentally as well. Fitness then became her foundation for feeling happy, healthy, and empowered. She wanted to teach other people how to feel the same way. She is an ACE-Certified Group Fitness Instructor and has been teaching group fitness for four years now!

Katie's classes deliver doses of inspiration bundled with high-intensity intervals and sweaty strength sessions! Katie and her students will move as a team from one powerful movement to another, targeting the entire body, to reach new goals in physical strength, mental grit, and endurance. Her classes will leave tribe members feeling refreshed, exhilarated and stronger. Katie's mission in her classes is to leave tribe members feeling better than when they walked in. By pushing them to their edge, and having them embrace the feeling for even a little bit, her belief is that a new level of clear-headed strong can be reached. You can expect a mind-body unpacking of sorts, and there's no better feeling than that!
Music You Can Catch Katie Playing in Class
Music means everything to Katie in her classes! To her, at its core, it's music that dictates movements and sets the tone for the energy in her classes. Katie likes to mix it up. She likes a little bit of everything and anything with a strong beat that "gets you going." She loves to find songs that fit the message behind her class. Eminem's "Till' I Collapse" or Kanye's "Stronger" are some of Katie's all time favorites.
